Marriage and Family Therapist (Telehealth) - Full-Time Opportunity in Los Angeles, California

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California
  • Minimum of two years prior experience providing direct patient services in a medical environment, or prior experience in working with patients in a clinical or social services environment, including working with adults or adolescents in individual, group, and family therapy.
  • A working knowledge of theories and interventions that are utilized to successfully work with patients in order to provide empathy, support, and encourage patients to initiate change.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to communicate in large or small groups and public speaking skills.
  • Display sensitivity to the different cultures represented among members and staff.
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality about patient(s) Protected Health Information.

Requirements

    • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited school
    • Active, unrestricted, and Current license to practice as an LMFT in the state of California
    • Demonstrates excellent clinical skills
    • Ability to stay organized and keep calendar availability up to date to enable efficient client session scheduling
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently complete progress notes after client sessions
