Job description

This role focuses on the precise and efficient entry of data related to SKUs and purchase orders, ensuring that all information is accurately recorded and maintained in the system.

  • Enter SKU information: Accurately input product group numbers, sub-group numbers, product types, supplier details, product names, descriptions, and other relevant data into the system.
  • Create purchase orders: Generate new purchase order numbers, select appropriate warehouses, enter supplier numbers, FOB dates, delivery details, and order quantities.
  • Maintain data accuracy: Ensure all entered data is correct and matches the provided assortment plans and procurement details.
  • Update inventory systems: Regularly update the inventory management system with new SKUs and purchase orders.
  • Generate and save documents: Print and save hard copies and PDF copies of purchase orders, ensuring they are correctly filed in the designated folders.
  • Assist with reporting: Provide data entry support for generating procurement and inventory reports.
  • 2+ years experience as a Data Entry Specialist in procurement, purchasing or order management practice.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data entry software and tools.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of procurement and inventory processes.
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
