Job description

Job Title: Lead Developer
Clearance Required: Public Trust – Federal Client requires US Citizenship
Work Location: Remote

Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Lead Developer for a Remote position on an potential Federal project in Arlington, VA. 

Ideal candidate has previous experience working with federal and large commercial clients, financial, insurance and banking with a strong emphasis on user experience, usability, client interaction, customer satisfaction, and a clear understanding of new and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or similar degree.

Experience/Skills:

  • Federal agency requires US Citizenship.
  • Proficient communication, facilitation, mediation, and verbal and written communication skills to be demonstrated upon interview.
  • Client-facing skills are required.
  • 10+ years of experience developing and modernizing IT solutions similar in size, scale, and technology to AIMS Modernization
  • Experience designing and managing the end-to-end architecture of a solution and ensuring that all components of the solution successfully integrate
  • Significant experience with FDIC-approved architecture and technologies (e.g., Angular, Java, Microservices, PostgreSQL, Tom EE)
  • Strong hands-on experience in full software lifecycle development methodologies with hands-on experience in the successful delivery of more than three (3) software solutions using Agile
  • Recent experience developing in Microsoft Azure
  • Expert knowledge of databases and related tools and utilities

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $142,437.50 - $174K. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
