Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Deal Desk Specialist to support our Sales team. This role will focus on managing deal workflows, including quote approvals, pricing accuracy, and resolving deal-related issues. You will ensure the integrity of deal data in Salesforce and collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and accelerate deal closures.

Location:
Full-time, work from home, 9 AM - 5 PM, CT/PT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quote Management & Approvals: Collaborate with Sales to generate, review, and approve quotes, ensuring they align with pricing models and company policies. Ensure quotes are accurate and timely, supporting strategic goals.

  • Deal Closure Support: Provide end-to-end support in closing deals, addressing complex questions regarding pricing, terms, and conditions, and resolving discrepancies.

  • Fee Schedules Management: Post revenue schedules accurately for recognized revenue, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.

  • Pricing Structure Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s pricing structure and ensure accurate quote generation.

  • Salesforce Data Integrity: Oversee accurate and timely entry of deal data into Salesforce, ensuring consistency and alignment with reporting needs.

  • Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks within the deal approval process and implement improvements to streamline operations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key point of contact for deal-related inquiries, collaborating with Sales, Finance, and RevOps teams for smooth execution.

  • Data Accuracy & Reporting: Ensure all deal data is accurate and up-to-date. Provide actionable insights to leadership based on deal data trends, supporting forecasting and decision-making.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in sales operations, deal desk management, or a similar role.

  • Proficient in Salesforce and other CRM platforms, with a solid understanding of deal data management and reporting functionalities.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data integrity, ensuring accurate and reliable deal data.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Sales, CS, Finance, and RevOps).

  • Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to address complex issues efficiently.

  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and process automation.

  • SaaS or B2B environment experience is preferred. Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven Deal Desk Expertise: Hands-on experience managing deal workflows, ensuring accurate pricing, and optimizing quote approval processes.

  • Data-Driven: Strong ability to work with deal-related data in Salesforce, ensuring integrity and accuracy for reporting and forecasting.

  • Process Improvement: Identifies inefficiencies within workflows and implements solutions to improve operational speed and accuracy.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable collaborating across departments and communicating complex deal information clearly and efficiently.

  • SaaS/B2B Experience: Experience in sales operations in SaaS or B2B environments, with a good understanding of pricing structures and deal management.

  • Construction Industry Knowledge: While not required, familiarity with the construction industry is highly desirable.
