Technical Business Analyst (Remote)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst who will help shape our products and services that touch people around the world. The role provides the vital link between the technology and business department. In this role you must demonstrate experience and creativity in system development and application design. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements and translating them into technical documentation to be consumed by our development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Requirements Elicitation and Analysis: 
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their business needs, pain points, and desired outcomes. Translate these requirements into clear, concise, and actionable technical specifications.
• Technical Documentation:
•  Create and maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements documents, functional specifications, technical designs, user manuals.
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): 
• Actively engage in all phases of the SDLC, providing insight on the business implications of technical decisions, ensuring solutions meet functional requirements, and facilitating user acceptance testing.
• Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: 
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business units and technical development teams.
• Process Mapping and Improvement): 
• Analyze existing business processes and workflows. Recommend and implement improvements for efficiency, incorporating best practices and the capabilities of new software solutions.
• Data Analysis and Modeling: 
• Leverage data to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and potential issues within software systems. Drive insights using data or visualizations to support business recommendations.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in a business analyst role in a software development environment.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and propose data-driven technology solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in gathering, documenting, and validating requirements to ensure the quality of developed solutions.
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Problem-solving and Decision-making: Strong aptitude for strategic problem-solving, weighing trade-offs, and driving solutions to meet business goals.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of software development principles, methodologies (Agile, Scrum), database systems, and web technologies.

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Quick learner and able to develop subject matter skills
• Being able to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Available for scheduled and ad-hoc calls/meetings/chats during weekdays working
• Quiet workspace, conducive to video meetings & calls
• Access to a reliable high-speed Internet connection; at least 25MBPS.
• Double monitors preferred but not required (if available)
