Our Aurora Platform also received CRN’s Products of the Year award in the inaugural Security Operations Platform category. Join a company that’s not only leading, but also shaping, the future of security operations.

Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to be part of making that happen.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, legal, and operations, to review contracts and assess revenue implications, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies and guidelines.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of revenue-related transactions, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including revenue-related accruals, deferrals, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue accounting.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices related to revenue recognition and communicate their impact on the organization.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of revenue accounting operations, leveraging NetSuite's capabilities to streamline workflows and automate manual processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3+ years of revenue recognition experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite, including proficiency in revenue recognition modules and customization capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606).
  • Proven ability to interpret complex contracts and identify revenue recognition implications.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as sales, legal, and operations, to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in revenue-related transactions.
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
