Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Audit Accountant with intermediate to senior-level experience in UK audit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in external audit and financial reporting, and will play a key role in supporting the setup and delivery of audit services within a growing function.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute audit assignments for a variety of UK-based clients in accordance with UK auditing standards (ISA UK).
Perform risk assessments and develop appropriate audit strategies and procedures.
Prepare audit working papers and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting frameworks (FRS 102, UK GAAP).
Liaise directly with UK managers and clients for audit queries, follow-ups, and issue resolution.
Support the development of internal processes, audit templates, and best practices as the team scales.
Assist in training and mentoring junior team members as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in audit, ideally with exposure to UK clients or standards.
Strong understanding of UK auditing and accounting principles (ISA UK, FRS 102, UK GAAP).
ACCA/ACA qualified or finalist preferred, but not required if experience is extensive.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with UK-based accounting firms or in an offshore setup is a plus.
