Talent Acquisition (Strategy & Recruiting) includes work across multiple areas of staffing/recruiting including: •Talent evaluation and screening (e.g., analyzing resumes for relevant skills, knowledge, and qualifications, conducting screening interviews, assisting managers with interviews, testing/ranking candidates, checking references and providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates) •Job advertising and posting (e.g., developing job descriptions, posting on internal and external sites, providing specifications to external recruiting agencies, etc.) •Talent prospecting (representing the organization at employment fairs, participating in campus recruiting activities, building sourcing pipelines/networks for targeted talent pools) •Talent staffing and planning (e.g., forecasting future hiring needs, aligning hiring strategy to longer term workforce plans, analyzing market trends that impact labor supply & demand, etc.)

Level: A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include: • Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. • Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. • Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

Specialization Match Note: Para-Professional incumbents arrange interviews, handle communications with candidates, and assist with initial phone screening of candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting with business leaders on talent-related strategies and initiatives throughout the course of a search to influence decisions regarding recruitment strategy, profile development, assessment methods, and final selection 

  • Managing key business relationships; partnering effectively with business leaders and functional teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and met; maintaining broad influence through ongoing development of internal/external relationships across the organization 

  • Actively manage and leverage external partnership with diverse associations to shape effective sourcing strategies, build talent pipeline and meet hiring needs 

  • Sourcing and working with high level positions 

  • Collaborating with internal partners and hiring managers to determine the best candidates for openings 

  • Advocating for candidates when the right fit comes up in any of Nordic’s current business units 

  • Conducting video, phone and in-person interviews to ensure candidates meet Nordic hiring requirements 

  • Sourcing new candidates via LinkedIn, candidate events, career fairs, and other channels 

  • Maintaining candidate pipeline and meeting recruiting performance metrics 

  • Creating, designing, and implementing appropriate tools and processes to monitor candidate relationships 

  • Utilizing and maintaining CRM information for candidate tracking and reporting 

  • Working with Marketing to develop communications, events, and materials for recruiting prospective Nordic employees 

  • Attending Nordic functions and community networking events 

  • Actively participating as an essential member of the Talent team, supporting efficiency and team goals 

  • Working on projects that may be assigned and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested 

  • Developing and implementing a hiring strategy in consultation with hiring managers and sales leaders 

  • Work with sales leadership to determine annual hiring needs and forecasting 

  • Support end to end recruitment up to point of hire for a variety of corporate and executive level positions 

Required Skills and Experiences 

  • 5-7 years of technical recruiting experience required 

  • Proven recruiting experience for sales positions 

  • 1+ years of healthcare or IT industry experience required 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 

  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of talent acquisition, including recruiting strategy development, candidate sourcing, candidate pipelining, stakeholder management, and assessment/selection 

  • Experience with tracking and reporting recruitment metrics 

  • Experience with sourcing platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed or similar) preferred 

  • Proven ability to connect with a wide range of new people and build quick rapport 

  • Experience with Workday preferred 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service 

  • Driven to move quickly and motivated to win 

  • Able to balance urgent, short-term needs with strategic, long-term priorities 

  • Adaptable and able to embrace the gray with a positive attitude 

  • Organized, with strong attention to detail 

  • Ability to effectively monitor all tasks associated with candidate recruitment and selection at various stages of the process 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications 

  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims 

 

Additional Details 

  • Position is remote 

  • Occasional travel up to 10% of the time to recruiting events, as needed
