About the Position: Assistant Video Editors are responsible for editing ads for clients day to day, working for a fixed set of brands and in close contact with the creative directors that write and revise every video.

What you'll do:

Editing short form and long-form direct response video ads for Facebook and other platforms, for Ready Set clients
Animating simple text and shape assets to complement the edits.
Work hand to hand with the Sr Video Editor, receiving feedback, revisions and approval from them
Following up editing best practices, naming conventions and upload and download procedures, so we can all edit each other's projects.

You are good at:

Excellent English, both written and spoken. This is a US based company.
Extensive experience with Adobe Premiere and After effect (+3 years)
Accessible, responsive and diligent - we move fast and reliability is key
Humble, coachable - takes feedback well. We are always learning from each other
Self-motivated - a doer. We give everyone at Ready Set a ton of freedom
