About the Role

In this role, you will drive reporting and insights that deliver a scaled impact for Platform and Devices org across multiple Product Areas. 

On a more day to day basis you will play a technical  role in driving all things product and marketing analytics, with a strong focus on reporting, measurement and testing.

You'll extract data, develop metrics, visualize insights and communicate inferences into actionable recommendations that enable decision-making and drive business impact.

You will own data reporting and work with Google who will help consult on strategy and insights.

As a Senior Analyst you will be seen as an expert within our team on all things that relate to media data, marketing analytics and test setup methodologies.

While this is a remote position, candidates will be expected to work in PST. 


Responsibilities:
  • Use your knowledge of data analytics to develop solutions for data analytics challenges, while also uncovering opportunities for measurement and optimization to push brand and product measurement to the next level.
  • Build data pipeline automation, tracking requirements, dashboards, reporting and metrics for our stakeholders to understand and track the product impact of tested strategies.
  • Analyze test results and report the effectiveness across all stakeholder groups. 
  • Establish projected timelines for projects, utilizing varied data sources, and evaluate the scalability of the solution.
  • Develop processes to ensure all stakeholders align and understand how we report metrics against objectives.
  • Conduct statistical analysis, find best practices and surface opportunities and risks of evolving methodologies to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with teams to resolve dependencies and establish technical solutions to business problems

 

About You
The essentials:
  • 4+ years of experience as a data analyst.
  • Experience with data mining principles and querying large, complex data sets (e.g., using SQL for collecting data from multiple data systems).
  • Experience with data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Looker or equivalent BI tool).
  • Expertise in intermediate spreadsheet skills like pivot, lookup, index, match etc…
  • Well versed at using data for storytelling and presenting insights and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Not a must, but a plus:
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, R etc…). 
  • Familiarity with statistical hypothesis testing and analyzing incrementality tests.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, regression, correlation etc...
  • BA/BS in Maths / Statistics / Engineering / Research Methods / Economics or equivalent experience in quantitative fields.

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
