Introduction: As a Senior Data & AI Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing advanced data analysis and AI models. Your expertise will help create innovative products using Generative AI, providing actionable insights and visualizations for executive stakeholders. This is a remote role based in Colombia, offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional eager to make an impact in the world of data and AI.

Technical requirements:

• English level: C1.
• Advanced level of Python focused on data analysis, Generative AI and Machine Learning.
• High analytical and numerical capacity with strong foundations in statistics.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools.
• Knowledge in the application of Machine Learning and Generative AI Models including:
• Supervised and unsupervised models (clustering, classification, regression).
• Reinforcement learning and Bayesian optimization.
• Fine-tuning and learning transfer in language models (LLMs).
• Experience with AI architectures and tools, including:
• Machine Learning Frameworks: TensorFlow (Keras) and PyTorch.
• NLP & LLMs: OpenAI API, Hugging Face, LangChain.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for improving AI responses.
• Knowledge of structured and unstructured databases.
• Advanced SQL and NoSQL.
• Vector databases for embeddings and information retrieval
• Experience in developing and deploying AI models into production.
• Intermediate knowledge in Excel.
• Experience in the development of AI-based models and applications.

Desirable:

Working conditions:

• Compensation: up to $8,000,000 pesos per month, depending on experience.

Functions:

AI Model Development and Optimization

• Design and improve AI models and behavioral simulation, ensuring accuracy and usefulness in different scenarios.

• Implement and optimize autonomous AI agents for task automation and advanced insights generation.

• Explore different approaches to Machine Learning and Generative AI, including reinforcement, supervised, and unsupervised learning.

• Apply fine-tuning and learning transfer to adapt models to different use cases.

Strategy and AI-Based Product Development

• Define and develop strategies to integrate AI into different products and business solutions.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn AI capabilities into actionable capabilities.

• Develop customization mechanisms to adapt AI models to different industries and customer needs.

• Evaluate and define KPIs to improve model performance.

Data Strategy and Model Optimization

• Design and execute data collection, processing, and validation strategies to improve model accuracy.

• Integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to ensure that the responses generated are contextually relevant and verifiable.

• Data Analytics and Predictive Modeling

• Apply predictive models and simulation techniques to anticipate trends and behaviors.

• Validate the accuracy and consistency of models through comparisons with real data and reference models.

• Implement dynamic tuning and language model optimization (LLMs) to improve adaptability to different contexts.

Collaboration with Engineering and Data Science Teams

• Work with technical teams to optimize data pipelines and models in production, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

• Develop methodologies for validation, updating and continuous improvement of AI models.

• Apply techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to improve the quality and relevance of the insights generated.

• Insights Visualization and Communication

• Design interactive dashboards and reports to visualize trends, predictions, and results of AI models.

• Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
