Cybersecurity Analyst II - Full-Time Remote in Montana


In collaboration with the CIO, the Mountain Pacific Cyber Security Analyst II maintains a high level of integrity and is responsible for protecting the organization’s IT infrastructure by monitoring and responding to security threats, performing root cause analysis, and implementing remediation strategies. This role involves managing cybersecurity tools, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining compliance with standards like NIST, FIPS, and PCI-DSS. Additionally, the analyst ensures systems are up-to-date with patches and educates employees on cybersecurity best practices to support a secure, resilient operating environment.

This is a Full-time Remote position with a preference in location of Montana or surrounding states. The successful candidate would have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or similar scope of study with an emphasis in information security, network security, cybersecurity principles with a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred. The target compensation for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 a year.  The first review of candidates will be on March 27th, 2025, and continually reviewed every 5 days after.
