The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Technology Process Engineer provides leadership and direction for the overall health, reliability, and life cycle of warehouse management systems. This critical position provides technical expertise and partners with vendors to design, implement and optimize WMS (Warehouse Management System), WES (Warehouse Execution System) and WCS (Warehouse Control System) to support distribution center operation. We are seeking an individual with a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to deliver impactful solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
This position requires a proactive leader to develop internal and external strategic partnerships to successfully maintain and implement a culture of continuous improvement, develop innovative solutions to problems, and improve operational key performance indicators. The person should proactively identify opportunities for enhancements and corrective actions for existing systems, partnering with other departments to successfully implement those changes.
Responsibilities
System Optimization
Provide leadership and direction to drive overall systems functionality and availability.
Optimize current processes through development and implementation of improved procedures, configurations or system enhancements.
Understanding business processes and requirements; translating them into Business Requirement documents when necessary.
Collaborate with vendors and team members to perform software testing and reporting on quality metrics.
Integration and Maintenance
Maintain working knowledge of warehouse software solutions and infrastructure including, but not limited to Warehouse Management System (WMS), Warehouse Execution System (WES), and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
Hands-on system configuration of WMoS, Functional testing, Integration testing and Test Script writing to ensure WMoS is properly integrated with all systems.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors in Foot Locker environments, aligning on roadmaps for enhancements, fixes and support relationships.
Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge and documentation for vendor products integrating to WMoS.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Provide Analytical support for projects and new business opportunities.
Perform diagnostics of problems, troubleshoot and develop technical solutions.
Provide technical assistance to data team for accessing data and development of dashboards/views in support of operations and Supply Chain leaders.
Provide ad hoc reporting and data as needed by Supply Chain leaders.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Meet regularly with Engineers, Operations and Global Technology Services to communicate all on-going projects and coordinate efforts when necessary.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience working on a Warehouse Management system. Experience with Manhattan Associates preferred.
Experience with any of Manhattan’s complimentary products is a plus. Integration experience with Manhattan’s Integration Framework (MIF) to another plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Warehouse Execution System and Warehouse Control System. Experience with Fortna WES, Trew/ TKO WES, Cirrus WCS, and Beumer WCS preferred.
Advanced SQL skills and SQL Server 2019 experience.
Ability to work with a wide variety of groups from IT to operations.
Working knowledge of Cognos version 11.
Experience using MS Visual Studio .Net and Reporting Services.
Knowledge of web service architecture, data modeling experience preferred.
Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CA) methodologies. Demonstrated ability to own projects, think big and influence across all levels of an organization through structured thinking to solve problems and improve operational outcomes by implementing long term solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Need to operate with sound reasoning and judgement with strong attention to detail coupled with a high level of resourcefulness.
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box. Knowledge of the concepts of Lean and Continuous Improvement

The annual base salary range is $90000 - $130000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
