We are seeking expressions of interest from appropriately experienced and qualified teachers/tutors to support the delivery of our Vocational Information and Communications Technology (ICT) courses during 2025. CQUniversity offers VET units in blocks of 9 or 20 weeks and casual staff are contracted based on student enrolments in each of these blocks.
Please note this vacancy is a casual pool. Your expression of interest will remain valid for a period of 12 months. You will only be contacted if appropriate casual work becomes available whilst your application is active.
Position Requirements
Teacher
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education, or equivalent.
Blue Card (Working with Children) check (Desirable).
Possession of relevant vocational qualification/s at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered: industry qualification (certificate, industry certification, diploma, degree or masters).
Several years industry experience in at least two of the following discipline areas:
Network planning, installation, and configuration
Network security
Virtual computing
Cyber Security
Project Management
Business needs analysis
PC Hardware and software technical support.
Tutor
Qualifications and/or experience which meet the recognised occupational competency standards relevant to their field/area and to the level of instruction.
Several years industry experience in PC Hardware and software technical support.
Blue Card (Working with Children) check (Desirable).
TAE Delivery and/or Assessment skill set (Desirable).
