This position leads the Sales & Events HIC Envision implementation and deployment team. This position is focused on successfully rolling out our Sales and Events technology footprint to Hyatt Inclusive Collection properties. This involves in managing communication with the project stakeholders, configuration of the systems and onboarding colleagues into Hyatt’s technology eco system. As a manager, they are responsible for development of the team, managing vendor relationship and effectively interact with Corporate and Regional offices to understand the project needs. This position will require management of multiple projects, priorities, and a fluctuating workforce. Interaction and relationships with other departments will be critical. Additional responsibilities include:
Effective interaction with different project teams to coordinate onboarding activities and deployment schedules (hiring of employees, implementation of other systems, setup of IT infrastructure).
Understand and stay engaged with other activities in the region that may impact the deployment plan.
Manage, coordinate and communicate the onboarding schedule for each hotel. Liaise with hotel leadership to plan for successful deployment and onboarding experience at the hotel, including but not limited to training space and equipment needed, travel coordination, resource availability to support the training.
Implement training and development plans for each team member. Mentor and manage the team through the phases of a career planning and prepare them for the next career step or return to hotel operations after the project concludes.
Define performance objectives and determine acceptable use of applications
Facilitator: Our deployment and onboarding processes will have both virtual and onsite components. This role will execute engaging both virtual and in-person classroom series to guide on-property teams through the build and learning processes needed to adopt meaningful use of Hyatt’s systems.
Lead the sales and events systems introduction, training, and deployment processes for Hyatt’s proprietary sales and events systems. This includes guiding our on-property teams to the system configurations which best fit their market segment needs and team dynamics to result in the most efficient customer relationship and revenue-driving business practices.
Development of training materials for use by the S&E team, the hotels, or our vendors. Training materials include slide decks, trainers' notes, and videos.
Maintain a relationship with Hyatt’s internal teams globally that implement and train the systems installed at new Hyatt hotels. This is done through regular meetings and interactions conducted remotely with vendor counterparts during each project to discuss project needs.
