Responsibilities
- Supports the promotion and sales of a portfolio of products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new customers.
- Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices.
- Creates, monitors, and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
- Has structured direct contact with clients and limited authority for negotiation.
- Has general knowledge of assigned products and services.
- Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
- Continues to build knowledge of business, financials, products/services, the market, or account needs.
- Works with moderately complex territory/assigned accounts, products/services, sales, or account management processes, and begins to plan territory or account approach and monitor resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree, plus 5-7 years of experience in the rotating industry.
- Experience in selling MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) solutions, with strong technical selling skills.
- Must have motivational and managerial skills, with a high sense of urgency to identify equipment, process, and industry opportunities in the market (develop networks).
- Proven ability to take ideas to full market launch.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and internal teams at EagleBurgmann.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments efficiently.
- Strong work ethic required.
- Ability to work in and lead teams to ensure successful program implementation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with excellent computer application skills in MS Office products.
