Sr. Technical Sales Manager - Western Region (US) - semiconductor RF capital equipment

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.
What will you do?
Responsible for the technical sales of COMET PCT product portfolio
Support Regional Sales and increase incoming orders and sales though customer visits, industry trade shows, and networking through advanced application knowledge.
Manage and further develop existing customer base.
Identify customer needs and requirements with close cooperation with Product Management and R&D to best define and present COMET PCT solutions
Utilize their insight and understanding of trends in the Semiconductor Equipment OEM, 3rd party and end users markets as well as adjacent industry segments to support the PCT sales team and customers
Create, present to management, and implement business cases for business development projects
Ability to translate benefits and features of new technology to facilitate customer adoption of next generation products.
Lead negotiations and close contracts with customers and partners
Manage contacts, quotes, and orders in CRM system
Manage key accounts, penetrate complex organizations and build strong, long lasting, customer relationships
Develop and maintain accurate Sales forecasts and timely reporting
Interpret technical requirements of the customer
Collaborate with R&D and marketing in the definition of new products to serve defined market segments
Be strategic in converting technology and sales ideas to drive new business
Ability to work with internal Customer Service and Technical Services Teams in delivering exemplary customer experiences.
Excellent communication and technical skills
Training and educating customers on new systems and software.
What You Bring
Minimum of +10 years of experience in sales / business development or relevant customer facing roles
Experience in capital sales, with focus on RF applications is a necessity for this role
Bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical/Electrical or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
Ability to combine technical and commercial aspects of the Sales and Business Development process to build customer value proposition.
Record of selling to both large and small companies and developing strategic key accounts
Display a proven ability to build strong relationships.
Professional approach to customers and colleagues
Demonstrate high level of energy and embrace the opportunity to work in a team-based organization and have the curiosity inherent in learning new skills
Ability to travel within the assigned territory in the United States as well as occasional travel to Europe

The target salary range for this job is approximately $155,000 - $170,000 plus eligibility for sales incentive plan.
