Job description

About the Team

Our CPG Advertising & Promotions team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising.  We provide digital marketing solutions to help CPG brands advertisers reach DoorDash audiences. This role will be responsible for campaign analytics and optimizations across our performance media products.

About the Role

We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented, highly-motivated individual to support our CPG Ads business. In this role, you’ll be part of our Insights organization, supporting our growing sales teams on core media products. In this role you will serve as “subject matter expert” on Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns, providing analytics and insights to Advertisers, Sales, and Product:

  • Own OKRs related to ads revenue and upsell
  • Understand all the tools available to advertisers to set up and optimize their campaigns; leverage those tools to deliver against advertiser targets across key metrics: ROAS, pacing, fill rate
  • Build scalable processes and tooling to contextualize Advertiser performance and enable our partnership teams to self-diagnose performance and make recommendations
  • Design and own insights-driven narratives for Sales teams, such as weekly performance reporting, campaign analysis in Quarterly Business Reviews, and strategic upsell opportunities showcasing the influence of media strategy to reach business goals
  • Engage with media leads at top CPG advertisers to plan campaign strategy, analyze performance, and proactively identify areas of optimization and opportunity
  • Serve as thought partner to Product and Ops teams to influence feature enhancements and new builds to drive performant advertiser outcomes
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
  • Analyze and Influence: You enjoy hunting for insights and using data to share meaningful learnings and make actionable recommendations
  • Scale: You are ready to roll up your sleeves and help build new and improve current processes and tools to increase the reach and impact of your work
  • Partner: You’ve worked closely with sales and account teams before and know what data they - and their partners - need to achieve their marketing goals
We’re excited about you because…
  • You have 4+ years of experience in performance marketing at a digital agency, retail media network, or in a CPG environment
  • You have been ‘hands on keyboard’ for performance media products and are familiar with different capabilities like targeting, bid strategies, etc.
  • Intermediate to Advanced SQL experience required; you are able to build scalable data tools
  • Have worked in a client facing role and are comfortable sharing data-backed insights and recommendations to external audiences
  • You have a proven track record of hitting goals and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment

We expect this position to be filled by 5/16/2025.
