The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a team of Field Service Engineers that provides technical service, repair and installation of ASP solutions within their own assigned territories. The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for the management of appointed service providers in ensuring assigned service activities are performed in accordance to ASP quality standards and completed on schedule. The Field Service Supervisor will be responsible to drive solution-oriented decisions, collaborating closely with cross-functional departments to ensure service contracts are processed accurately and efficiently, related invoice and administration is completed on time and all non contract service orders are invoiced accurately and timely.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manage the work of a team of Field Service Engineers and appointed service providers.
- Set daily priorities to drive achievement against team objectives.
- Responsible for the performance, training, and development of direct reports.
- Drive team to improve their FBS knowledge and application.
- Oversee parts management, trunk stock coordination, and customer escalations.
- Oversee proper OneASP work order management and service documentation.
- Deliver on service financials commitment.
Territory Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and installation of equipment within assigned territory.
- Create open lines of communication with the field and proactively develop targeted solutions to technical issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Work with leadership, customers, and personnel to schedule all aspects of technical/service work required.
- Advise on improvement opportunities for equipment efficiency, quality, and/or reduced cost of service.
- Manage customer expectations before and after interactions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities
- Complete all assigned training and documentation requirements within assigned due dates.
- Management of test tool calibration while ensuring timely calibration of test tools.
- Collaborate with spare part planner in ensuring the setup of adequate safety stock of spare parts in-country.
- Support the regional service leader in conjunction with the organizational goals and CVD’s and performing other duties as needed.
- Process RMA returns to support individual usage of supporting parts and equipment.
- Support internal and external audits as required, and completing any corrective action within the designated time frame.
- This position may require on-call responsibilities, after-hours or weekend work as needed.
