About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Success Engineer who is eager to deep dive into Apache Kafka and apply their expertise to support our customers in solving their most challenging problems. Our control panel is packed with intriguing features, as well as advanced technology that reimagines Apache Kafka systems. Through cultivating a deep understanding of our products, you’ll strategise on how to best support our customers to provide them with the most value.
What will you be doing?Onboarding new enterprise customers with Conduktor’s range of productsWorking closely with customers to train and enable them to use Conduktor productsCoordinating efforts and offer root-cause analysis on complicated technical issues (bugs, performance issues, security)Improving product documentation and authoring knowledge-base articlesAdvocating on the customer's behalf and provide feedback to Product/Engineering team to improve our solutions and product roadmapContinuously learning our products, Apache Kafka and the data streaming ecosystem in order to update our teams and help our customersWhat experience are we looking for?You have always been deeply interested in technology You’re interested in learning and mastering how Conduktor tooling can help in the data streaming worldYou have consulting or customer-facing experienceYou have hands-on experience with distributed technologies You have demonstrable experience with Docker / KubernetesYou have experience troubleshooting applications running on Linux (resource contention, network bottlenecks, etc.)You can read and understand codeYou have excellent communication skills: clear, concise and effective communication with customers and colleaguesYou demonstrate a good level of self-motivation, autonomy, curiosity and a positive attitudeNice to haveYou have knowledge of streaming or messaging systems like Apache Kafka, Pulsar, Rabbit MQ, JMS.You have previous experience as a software engineer with a background in software development, coupled with a passion for customer support. As a bonus, you have experience in a fast-growing and scaling business similar to Conduktor.
