We’re looking for a Project Manager within our Events Team. The role is a key leadership position and will be responsible for the successful management and delivery of projects of all sizes. This role involves regular extensive travel globally.

 What you’ll do:

  • Lead the successful management of specific projects and major client orders, ensuring both operational and commercial success, including overseeing multiple project deliveries.
  • Collaborate with the AES Operations team to develop industry-leading project management tools that will differentiate AES in the market.
  • Design and engineer tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to identify growth opportunities.
  • Approach each project with a focus on innovation and improving our customer offerings.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to develop and finalise customer proposals, ensuring both financial and technical viability.
  • Ensure the effective management of health, safety, and environmental standards regarding Aggreko services and equipment on all customer sites.
  • Provide customer support on a variety of matters, including contract management, commercial disputes, and strategic changes.
  • Plan projects in a logical sequence, calculate the time required to meet deadlines, and ensure margins are maintained.

Your skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience leading and delivering major events on an international scale.
  • A technical background, ideally within the power solutions industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects across various locations.
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing within a health and safety-driven culture.
