Job description

Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team to work for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

As an Accounting Associate you will:

Perform validations of batched financial data against control reports for monthly close cycle that includes both income statement and balance sheet accounts
Prepare, process, and validate recurring and miscellaneous accounting entries
Perform account balance reconciliations
Prepare invoice payments requiring SAP code block mapping
Coordinate responding to external and internal audit inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist with state compliance by filing submissions to states and specific state organizations and/or support this function.
Perform other duties as assigned, including documenting procedures, approvals, etc.
Help with project implementation for high performance expectations, business changes, contractual obligations, etc.
