Lead and guide all quality related aspects at the plant site by implementing quality management systems, quality plans and controls to achieve plant’s objectives.
Ensure the quality of products and their compliance with the Ethiopian Standards.
In charge for the achievement of key performance indicators in the field of product quality and quality systems related as per agreed targets for the overall plant’s performance.
Define and set quality targets for the production department.
Recommend and implement quality control methodologies in cooperation with the production department.
Coordinate and carryout product quality tests and recommends measures for its improvement.
Provide the necessary guidance to laboratory staff and ensure the continuous improvement of their competency.
Identify specific developmental needs and gaps of the assigned staff.
Train and develop the assigned staff to provide specific knowledge.
Control and guide the daily work and ensure the safety regarding the laboratory activities.
Implement standardized reporting functions, work instructions for optimizing the process chains.
Carry out annual performance reviews of employees.
Ensure a well-organized communication of decisions and current developments of technical information and those relating to the quality between various players.
Requirements
BSC /TVE-TIV/MSC in chemistry or Chemical Engineering 15/12 years related expriance
