Theoria’s Recruitment Department is seeking a proactive and strategic recruiter with a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and a proven ability to build relationships with physicians and navigate complex recruitment processes as a Strategic Physician Recruiter. 

The ideal candidate for this position is responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top physician talent from targeted referral hospitals to increase facility conversion rates. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Business Development and Operations Teams to achieve recruitment goals and drive census growth within our partner facilities.



Shift Structure 

  • 9 AM - 6 PM EST

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment lifecycle for strategic physician roles
  • Develop innovative recruitment strategies
  • Targeted sourcing from high referral rate hospitals
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments
  • Negotiate competitive offer packages
  • Track recruitment metrics for optimization
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
  • Partner with Business Development and Operations to identify target hospitals with the highest referral rates.
  • Proactively source and identify qualified physician candidates within those target hospitals, focusing on those with existing relationships and a high propensity to convert.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified physician candidates for future opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in physician recruiting and the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting physicians and meeting recruitment goals.
  • Strong understanding of physician compensation models and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements related to physician recruitment.
