Reporting to the head of Product Marketing, the Manager of Engagement Marketing  will design and lead the member engagement marketing function for HealthJoy. This experienced leader in consumer marketing strategies will develop strategies and programs to maximize activation, onboarding, engagement, and retention across our member audience. This role will collaborate with stakeholders from Data, Product & Tech, Customer Success, and Member Services to develop processes that support our member engagement programs and ensure we are creating value for our members across existing products and new product launches.

Your impact. 
  • Leadership and People Management - Uplevel the design and contribution of a member engagement marketing function and build/lead a small team that maximizes adoption of HealthJoy’s products and services.
  • Strategy & Collaboration — Partner with Data, Product & Tech, Customer Success, and Member Services leaders to develop, define and execute a member engagement strategy across multiple channels.
  • Campaign Automation — Employ automation and AI tools to scale engagement campaigns across multiple segments. You will also collaborate with Product and Engineering to segment, personalize, and scale our member engagement campaigns.
  • Audience Segmentation — Identify key member segments in collaboration with the Data team and lead (and/or partner with Product Design on) research initiatives that improve campaign targeting and content.
  • Product Launch Support — Partner with Product Marketing Managers to develop GTM strategies for launching new products to our member audience and driving engagement and retention. Collaborate with Content Marketing on member-facing content (educational, seasonal, etc.) to drive awareness and repeat utilization of HealthJoy’s products and features.
  • Campaign Analysis — Evaluate performance of member engagement campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations to improve their effectiveness. 
Your experience.
  • 8+ years of experience (with 2+ years of people management experience) in lifecycle marketing, engagement and enrollment marketing, or related field with a consumer marketing (B2C or B2B2C) focus
  • 5+ years of experience building and scaling customer/consumer lifecycles using automation, personalization, and/or artificial intelligence
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful multichannel marketing campaigns
  • Experience working in the healthcare technology or benefits space strongly preferred
  • Experience working for a mobile app company is a plus
  • Experience with Customer.io is a plus
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and driving alignment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools (Looker, Amplitude)
  • Ability to manage projects efficiently with high standards for quality of work and a high-level of accountability
  • Problem solver mindset with an ability to navigate ambiguous projects
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced environment

Job Level: 50

Base Compensation Range for Job Level:  $125,000-150,000 Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary only. Certain roles are eligible for additional cash incentives such as commission, annual bonus targets, overtime pay or other variable incentives.

HealthJoy maintains a comprehensive strategy to determine rewarding and competitive packages for individual compensation for new hires, internal promotions and internal job changes. This strategy is based on several factors unique to each individual, including: 1) the skills, experience and qualifications of the individual; 2) the responsibilities and demands of the role; 3) analysis of external market data; and 4) company budget and financial performance. 

HealthJoy is a remote-first employer. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. 

At HealthJoy, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role and individual.
