Why You’ll Love this Role

Cribl is looking for an Event Marketing Specialist who is dynamic, passionate, and analytical to join our corporate events team. As a team member, you will help plan, develop, and execute some of our corporate tradeshows we sponsor. Events are a critical pillar of our marketing strategy, serving as a key channel for driving awareness, generating leads, and engaging with our target audiences in meaningful ways.

As a team member, you will plan, develop, and execute the appropriate events strategy for driving awareness, engagement, and pipeline goals

What you’ll do:

  • Manage Tier 2 and some Tier 1 corporate events from end-to-end: set goals, handle vendor relations, coordinate booth/collateral/swag development, drive promotional plan, negotiate contracts, and manage staffing and logistics.
  • Partner with other members of the marketing team on all trade show deliverables and content surrounding pre- and post-event promotion; manage timelines and related projects; ensure all materials follow Cribl brand and quality standards and guidelines
  • Direct on-site booth set-ups and teardowns; hold trainings and dry runs for before events and debriefs for after events; schedule booth staffing and coordinate staff travel arrangements and company registrations
  • Deliver post-event reports with data and insights, performance against goals, event leads and effectiveness through the funnel, and recommendations for future events and overall strategy
  • Be a strong representative for Cribl at external events and in prospect- and customer-facing conversations
  • This position may require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of event and trade show planning and management experience at a technology company, preferably in the software industry
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using marketing tools (e.g., Marketo, Looker)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and messaging for diverse audiences
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects independently from start to finish
  • Eager to grow Cribl’s brand awareness, qualified sales leads, and customer conversations with both technical audiences and senior buyers
  • Proactive with strong attention to detail; excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work and drive deliverables with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness and excitement to travel as needed. Travel required 25-30% of the year, with spring and fall as the busiest times

Bonus points:

  • No fear! Speak your mind
  • Good jokes, or maybe better, bad jokes
  • A love for goats
