Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to guide cross-functional and remote teams in adopting and scaling Agile practices while also leading a team of Scrum Masters. In this role, you will foster a culture of agility and continuous improvement across the organization, while providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the Scrum Masters under your supervision.

As a key driver of Agile, you will partner with stakeholders, teams, and leadership to optimize team performance, deliver business value, and scale Agile practices effectively. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, deep expertise in Agile frameworks, and the ability to coach, mentor, and manage with empathy and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching and Mentorship

Coach teams, individuals, and leadership on Agile principles, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), and mindset adoption.
Mentor and manage a team of Scrum Masters, providing feedback, career development, and aligning their work with organizational goals.
Drive Agile adoption and scaling across teams and departments to improve delivery and organizational agility.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, ensuring consistent practices.
Promote self-organization within teams, empowering them to take ownership of processes and deliverables.
Identify and remove impediments to maintain delivery momentum and enhance workflows.
Support backlog refinement, story mapping, and defining clear acceptance criteria to ensure alignment and focus.
Act as a change agent, delivering tailored training, workshops, and coaching to elevate Agile maturity.
Develop strategies to foster engagement, trust, and collaboration within cross-functional and remote teams.
Leverage tools and technologies to enable effective remote Agile practices and address distributed team challenges.

Qualifications

Required:

7+ years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or related role, with at least 2 years managing a team of Scrum Masters.
Strong expertise in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean) and scaling Agile in large organizations.
Proven success in coaching and leading cross-functional and remote teams.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of managing and developing team members.
Experience driving Agile transformations and aligning Agile practices with organizational objectives.
Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack).
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to adapt Agile practices to meet team and organizational needs.
Fluent in English

Preferred:

Certified Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP).
Experience coaching teams in DevOps environments or integrating DevOps practices into Agile workflows.
Strong understanding of metrics and KPIs for measuring Agile maturity and team performance.
Familiarity with change management practices to support large-scale transformations.
