IT Service Engineer Mid Level | Req#3815

ActioNet has an opportunity for a IT Service Engineer Mid Level. This role is remote and based in Suitland, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily configuration and operation of mainframe, mini, or client/server-based systems.
• Optimize system operation and resource utilization.
• Conduct system capacity analysis and planning.
• Assist users in accessing and using business systems.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate degree
• Experience: 1 year
• Perform additions and changes to network hardware, operating systems, and attached devices.
• Investigate, analyze, recommend, configure, install, and test new network hardware and software.
• Provide direct support for daily network operations, system utilization, and response time monitoring.
• Detect and correct operational problems using knowledge of hardware and software installation and maintenance in a PC/LAN/WAN environment.
• Maintain network infrastructure standards, including TCP/IP communication protocols.
• Training and/or certification in ITIL, CompTIA, Vendor-Specific (Unix, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.), IEEE, or similar areas.
