Role Overview

As an Associate, Strategy and Operations, you contribute to new business initiatives and are an integral component of the new product launch taskforce. You work closely with the Product Management, Business Operations, Risk, Marketing, and Sales teams to evaluate business opportunities and launch new products. You are the voice of data-driven decision-making and help advance fintech efforts across these teams.

What you do each day:

  • Define business strategies and priorities by conducting market analysis, developing financial models, and identifying customer and competitor insight
  • Lead or participate in ad-hoc projects which can cover a wide range of topics including: growth strategy, business case generation, market research
  • Take ownership and work with cross-functional teams to ensure - execution of strategies
  • Become the expert on all aspects of the financial products you manage through analyzing internal data, performing competitive and market research, and gathering feedback from customers
  • Recommend new products or opportunities for growth of existing product lines that improve the financial lives of our customer
  • Help define business strategies and priorities by conducting market analysis, developing financial models, and identifying customer and competitor insights
  • Support development of business case, strategy, timeline, risks, and interdependencies to enter the market
  • Identify and drive opportunities to expand adoption and usage across our suite of financial solutions
  • Manage performance measurement of your initiatives and fintech infrastructure partners to generate insights that drive growth and inform forecast models

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2+ years experience working in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, technology, or financial services in a product or strategy role
  • Excel modeling skills - developing complex and scalable models with sensible assumptions
  • Proficiency in building Powerpoint and/or Google slide decks

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $96,800-$121,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
