Job description

This is a remote role based anywhere in Spain or Slovakia. The successful candidate must be a permanent resident of one of the mentioned countries and have the right to work in that country.

The Department

 

The Specifications department is responsible for maintaining, defining the strategic direction, and setting standards for all specification datasets, including identification. This involves sourcing and storing original OEM documentation, entering the necessary information into internal databases using appropriate tools, and ensuring the highest possible quality of specification data. As a fundamental component of the majority of Autovista’s products, these datasets provide the essential foundation for a wide range of solutions and services. 

 

The Role

 

As a Specification Data Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining automotive data, ensuring its accuracy and consistency to correctly reflect the Passenger Car and LCV markets. Working with original data sources from manufacturers and importers, you will capture changes, manage vehicle model codes, pricing, and specification datasets, and provide harmonized commercial information for our customers.

Your role includes inputting and updating data, researching technical information, identifying and correcting gaps, and ensuring the database remains accurate and up to date. You will collaborate with internal teams, meet production deadlines, and contribute to maintaining the highest data quality standards.

 


The Candidate


You should have experience or strong knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly in vehicle equipment, specifications, and pricing structures. The ability to analyze and process complex automotive data with accuracy and consistency is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and attention to detail are key to success in this role. You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple tasks while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. At the same time, being a team player and collaborating effectively with colleagues across different teams is equally important.

A proactive mindset and willingness to learn will set you up for success!

 

Fluency in English and Swedish is required, while Norwegian and German are considered an advantage.
