Soap Central is looking for Writers in Music and Pop Culture with a knack of following top music and pop US related trends and stories, to join our content team.

Key Responsibilities

Write 4-5 features/ news stories a day (400-1500 words). Including Listicles, features, and urgent news.
Minimum of 120 features monthly
Must have thorough knowledge about music, Hip-Hop, celebrities and social media stars in the US.
Knowledge of social media trends and content sourcing via Twitter, Reddit, Instagram etc.
Must have strong command over the English language, with minimal factual and grammatical errors in writing
Should be active in suggesting unique ideas to boost Pop culture and music coverage.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of the entertainment industry and a natural flair for spotting viral topics, with the ability to execute timely articles swiftly.
Excellent command of the English language (US) is a must.
Should have a knack for sentence composition, grammar, and syntax.
Excellent content acquisition skills from viral platforms such as YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, Instagram and more
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
