Job description

Overview:

The Strategy Analyst will be part of the Market Strategy group within the Strategic Marketing & Product Management (SM&P) organization. The Strategy Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing Food, Health & Nutrition market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to drive strategic initiatives through the SMP planning. This role requires a deep understanding of brand strategy, market research, and consumer insights to enhance brand equity and support business growth objectives for the Food, Health and Nutrition Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of Food, Health and Nutrition market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and threats for the product brand and business units through the SMP’s situation assessment process.
  • Develop and maintain initiatives tracking reports and dashboards, providing regular insights and recommendations to optimize brand performance.
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather consumer insights, including surveys, focus groups, and data analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and sales to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all channels.
  • Lead the development and execution of brand positioning, messaging strategies, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor brand health metrics, KPIs, and ROI to evaluate the effectiveness of branding initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay informed about Food, Health and Nutrition industries trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to anticipate changes and opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Present findings, strategic recommendations, and campaign results to Senior Market Strategy Lead.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven years of experience in brand management, brand analysis, or strategic marketing roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and analyzing brands to drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in market research tools, data analysis, and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data and insights in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with statistical software and CRM platforms.
