As member of the Business Intelligence team in Optasia, you will be a significant contributor of company's data-driven decision making and profits optimization. You will show extensive experience of providing business insights and building BI tools and dashboards and as part of a broader team of 60 people, you will be working closely with Data Engineers, Credit Risk Analysts, Data Scientists as well as Commercial and Product stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Conducting ad-hoc and scheduled reporting analysis for a variety of projects on a daily base
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and drive analysis based on their requirements
  • Presenting insights and results to clients in a clear and impactful manner
  • Developing well-organized, insightful dashboards and KPIs to support strategic business decisions
  • Being able to articulate business requirements and communicating effectively
  • Desiring to learn new skills and improving existing ones

What you will bring

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, or Business from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or Business Analyst or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills, evidence of providing data driven business insights
  • Advanced SQL skills (PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases)
  • Hands-on experience on BI software and tools; like Qlik Sense, MS Power BI will be considered a plus
  • Base knowledge of technical tools such as Unix shell scripting, Python and Apache Hadoop Platform will be considered a plus
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence; our basic workflow management tool
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office with an advanced knowledge of Excel
  • At least one-year experience in a relevant industry; mobile and/or financial
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills resulting in action oriented recommendations
