Description

Primary Goal: The Project Coordinator oversees document translation projects ensuring timeliness and accuracy of client deliverables. A Project coordinator directs Freelance Linguists and will act as the primary point of contact for existing clients. This is a high-visibility role utilizing technology, people, and processes to deliver world-class services across a wide variety of industries. 

Responsibilities: 



  • Schedule and manage Freelance Linguist and vendor-based resources to meet client needs
  • Negotiate with linguists on project rates and ensure target margins are met
  • Select the appropriate freelance or vendor-based resources for each project and manage them throughout the process.
  • File and project documentation management and oversight
  • Utilize Company tools and technologies including Wordbee, HQ, HubSpot and Help Desk (part of HubSpot)
  • Ensure quality control for project deliverables and take corrective action as needed
  • Provide administrative support to Translation management team as directed
  • Other duties as assigned






Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.



Work Environment: This position operates in a remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand up or to sit for up to eight hours or more at a time. The employee must use his/her hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

Required Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Full working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, XLS, PowerPoint)
  • Foreign Language skills are a definite plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint and basic knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with Google Docs and Apple/Mac Operating System preferred
