As Demand Generation Manager, will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing integrated campaigns that drive new business pipelines and support K12 Insight’s growth goals. Using a variety of online and offline channels, you’ll deploy creative tactics to reach our target buyers across the entire buying cycle, drive demand, and accelerate deals. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, results-driven marketer who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to rebuild a function and make a direct and measurable impact to K12 Insight’s success. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, planning, and execution of comprehensive demand generation strategies that align with business goals—driving awareness, generating marketing-qualified leads, growing the sales pipeline, and increasing pipeline velocity.
- Serve as the team’s subject matter expert on all aspects of digital marketing, owning the cohesive strategy and respective KPIs to help achieve overall lead, pipeline, retention, and revenue goals.
- Oversee the technical operations of all digital advertising channels, possessing enough technical expertise to effectively communicate with digital agencies or internal resources about digital marketing and website operations.
- Implement strategies to engage and nurture leads throughout the buyer’s journey, leveraging automation tools and personalized outreach in collaboration with Sales and Field/Event Marketing.
- Create, maintain, and optimize multi-channel marketing programs—including email, social media, paid advertising, content, and webinars—while producing high-quality, engaging communications such as emails, social posts, and landing pages.
- Work with colleagues across the company and within Marketing to understand our clients, solutions, and the buyer’s journey, translating that knowledge into compelling campaigns that drive action.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators including inbound MQLs, new logo pipeline creation, MQL-to-SQO conversion, and revenue achievement. Provide clear reports on campaign impact as well as insights on trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Manage and quarterback prospects and leads generated from campaigns, ensuring timely handoff, follow-up, and progression of MQLs. Collaborate closely with Sales to improve lead quality and sales enablement.
- Oversee the demand generation budget to maximize ROI.

- You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and can communicate concepts in concise and clear terms to all levels of management.

- You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you are tasked with “figuring it out”, chipping in, working under tight deadlines, and taking initiative to support a fast-growing business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5+ years on a marketing team with demonstrable career growth and progression, and a proven track record of driving lead generation and revenue growth.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices, including website optimization, paid search and social media.
- Proven experience with Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and working in lockstep with Field/Events Marketing and Sales colleagues.
- Working knowledge of marketing automation (Hubspot Admin preferred), CRM solutions (Salesforce preferred), and project management software (Asana preferred).
- Understanding of Google Analytics/GA4 and other KPIs to drive strategy
- Experience working in K-12 education/edtech is highly preferred.
Location: This is a remote position open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States. This role may involve up to 10% travel. #Li-remote

The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 year with the opportunity to earn additional compensation pursuant with K12 Insight’s corporate bonus plan. The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position, and is subject to change. Exact pay will be based on factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and skills, market demands, internal parity and organizational needs.
