The Senior Manager, Operations Systems & Data leads the strategic direction, modernization, and optimization of operational processes and systems within Data Transformation. This role ensures the department evolves to handle complex data from multiple diverse inputs by integrating advanced methodologies and tools, positioning the organization at the forefront of data transformation.
The role focuses on aligning operations with corporate strategic initiatives, leveraging collaboration with Product, IT, PMO and Research teams to implement forward-thinking approaches that enhance scalability, efficiency, and data quality. By driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation, the Senior Manager ensures the department supports the organization’s long-term objectives and readiness for emerging challenges.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:Drive the department's evolution towards modern methodologies for managing and analyzing complex data from diverse sources.Develop and implement strategies that align departmental goals with organizational priorities and future needs.Lead initiatives to integrate advanced tools and technologies, ensuring scalability and efficiency in handling growing data complexity.Collaborate with Product, IT, PMO and Research teams to ensure alignment and seamless integration of new products, systems, solutions and methodologies.
Systems & Engineering:Oversee the management, configuration, integration, and upgrade of operational systems to meet evolving business and technological needs.Develop and implement system architectures that support high-performance data processing and analytics, in collaboration with Product and IT.Lead the installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of equipment at client premises, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.Develop robust documentation and processes for system management to ensure consistency and reliability.Drive initiatives to enhance system resilience, security, and scalability, addressing current and future operational demands.Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues efficiently.
Process Modernization & Innovation Identify and prioritize opportunities to modernize workflows and adopt cutting-edge technologies that improve operational effectiveness.Design resilient processes capable of adapting to evolving priorities and emerging data challenges.Lead change management efforts to transition to advanced methodologies with minimal disruption to operations.Optimize triage and escalation processes to enhance responsiveness and efficiency in managing complex workflows.
Team Development & Future-Ready SkillsOversee a forward-looking talent development strategy to equip team members with skills needed for modern data transformation, in collaboration with P&CMentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performanceCollaborate with organizational leaders to enhance employee engagement and leverage feedback to improve departmental performance.Develop career progression plans that align individual goals with the department’s strategic objectives.
