Job Requirements:

  • Operations Management Experience: Minimum 3 years proven experience in operations management within hospitality. Ideally in hotels. 
  • Hospitality Expertise: Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, and operational best practices. 
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to build and develop teams. 
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in the trucking industry. 
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using operations management software and tools to enhance efficiency.

Core responsibilities:

  • Strategic Implementation: Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize logistics, fleet management, and customer service. 
  • System Setup: Set up and oversee operational systems, processes, and infrastructure to support business growth. 
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a team of drivers, dispatchers, and support staff, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, focusing on safety and risk management. 
  • Budget Management: Manage the operations budget, overseeing procurement of vehicles, equipment, and other necessary resources.
