For nearly three decades, SA has built a solid track record of demonstrable success delivering SaaS licensure and compliance solutions to government regulatory agencies. About the Role:

The Solution Engineer (SE) Intern supports the Sales team in creating presentations that resonate with current and prospective SA customers. Specifically, the SE Intern will support a (SE) by performing pre-sales configuration and development to tailor the presented platform capabilities to customer needs. The SE Intern will coordinate with an SE to develop presentation scripts and preparatory backlogs based on initial customer interviews and research, as well as develop and deliver presentations. The SE Intern also contributes to proposal development activities by performing technical assessments of customer functional requirements to assess product fit.

What you will be doing:

• Assists a Solution Engineer (SE) in developing and delivering demonstrations including company overviews, products, and services to prospective clients 
• Applies technical knowledge to incorporate new and upcoming product features into sales presentations
• Conducts market research to determine market needs and inform upcoming presentations 
• Supports an SE in meeting established targets for sales pipeline volume, open prospects, pursuits, and sales 
• Analyzes prospective client needs, matches them to firm capabilities, and translates them into proposals which set clear expectations to meet client requirements and protect the company 
• Reports progress to SE and Director of Strategic Growth

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in configuring enterprise software systems.
• Familiarity with sales and RFP/RFI processes.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and customizing low code application platforms.
• Experience working with REST/Graph Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Fluency in JavaScript (especially React and TypeScript).
• Experience presenting to mixed groups of technical and business users.
