Job Description Overview:
The Account Manager, Sales Support, is responsible for optimizing distribution sales processes, validating sales data, and providing comprehensive analytics to support the sales team. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, inventory management expertise, and effective communication skills to drive efficiency in sales operations within the IT industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and validate sales data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards to track performance metrics.
- Manage all distribution programs and weekly sales tracking.
- Monitor and manage inventory allocation, distribution inventory turns, and aging stock.
- Perform data analysis and predictive forecasting to support sales and inventory planning.
- Collaborate with the sales team to streamline distribution processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage ASUS Internal A+ Web Syndication.
- Ensure Salesforce hygiene and data integrity.
- Track market share and Total Addressable Market (TAM).
- Provide Quarterly Business Review (QBR) reporting data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Cross-collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Tableau.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Salesforce, and sales software systems.
Required Qualifications:
Years of Education
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, distribution, or a similar role within the IT industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
- Prior experience in the technology or consumer electronics sector.
Working Conditions:
- Typically works in a remote environment, requiring extended periods of sitting, operating a computer, keyboard, and phone.
- May require occasional travel for business meetings, conferences, or training (20% Domestic Travel).
