About the Role

Evercam is looking for a highly skilled Head of Deployable Technology to lead the deployment, optimization, and maintenance of our hardware solutions, including solar cameras, network systems, and rapid deployable technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring seamless integration, operational efficiency, and world-class service levels as we scale.

Key Responsibilities includes:

Oversee deployment operations of camera kit systems, ensuring efficient scheduling and execution within SLAs
Translate hardware designs into product specifications, including BIM/3D modeling for standardization.
Optimize power requirements for solar cameras and other deployable systems.
Manage SIM card procurement, data plans, and centralized SIM tracking.
Define, procure, and manage SD cards and HDDs for storage and data integrity.
Standardize remote support, camera monitoring, and troubleshooting best practices.
Lead preventative and corrective maintenance efforts to maximize system performance.
Work with third-party contractors to ensure project timelines and technical standards are met.
Diagnose and resolve AC/DC electrical system faults in deployed hardware.
Ensure compliance with fire, health, and safety protocols on all deployments.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Experience in the security and technology industry, particularly in large-scale deployments and rapid deployable solutions.
Strong background in CCTV installation, maintenance, remote troubleshooting, and network engineering.
Proven ability to manage hardware product decisions (power optimization, storage, connectivity).
Experience overseeing technical teams and third-party vendors to execute projects efficiently.
Ability to develop and enforce best practices for maintenance, monitoring, and support.
Solid understanding of power management, SIM/data connectivity, and hardware integrations.
While this is a remote position, preference will be given to candidates based in the United Kingdom or Ireland
