Salary Range

$18-$20/hour (Depending on experience and certifications)

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Chino, California. This role involves receiving shipping containers, processing daily spare parts orders, operating forklifts, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure seamless logistics support.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Container Receiving & Inventory Management
    • Unload and inspect incoming shipping containers, verifying contents against packing lists.
    • Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Warehouse Manager.
    • Update inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS).
  2. Order Fulfillment & Shipping
    • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare spare parts orders for daily shipments.
    • Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and necessary documentation.
    • Coordinate with carriers (e.g., FedEx, freight companies) for timely deliveries.
  3. Forklift Operation
    • Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
    • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
  4. Warehouse Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S standards: Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
    • Assist in cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits.
  5. Safety & Compliance
    • Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
    • Wear required PPE (safety shoes, gloves, etc.) at all times.

Qualifications

  • Required
    • Valid forklift certification (OSHA-compliant).
    • 1+ years of warehouse experience, including order picking and shipping.
    • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
    • Basic computer skills (WMS, Excel, email).
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Preferred
    • Experience with container unloading and spare parts inventory.
    • Familiarity with LTL shipping and FIFO inventory practices.
    • Bilingual in Chinese (a plus).
