iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Technical Consultant who wants to be part of this rapidly expanding business, understanding the client’s requirements to develop their international payrolls through the configuration of tailored integrations to and from our systems, allowing for automated HR, payroll finance and banking integrations to be achieved on a global scale.
Role Overview
Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success! The implementation team works alongside the project management team to configure and deliver international payroll implementations for our global client base. The role also involves working closely with every department within iiPay to ensure the technical requirements are understood and everyone is aligned for an accurate and timely delivery of all integration processes.
The Technical Consultant will focus on delivering on the required system integration work expected by clients in the modern global payroll environment. You will deliver the integrations for our clients, working closely with the Implementation project team as well as our systems and product teams. You will be tasked with documenting and presenting the integrations process to the wider business, ensuring that all of iiPay are aligned in delivering the integrations required to remain at the cutting edge of the global payroll market. You will develop and deliver bespoke reporting and bespoke inbound integration processes for our clients. You will focus on General Ledger file configurations and Bank files as a priority but will also configure inbound integrations from the customers source systems such as HR systems and T&A systems.
Key objectives of the role
The successful candidate requires minimum 3 years of payroll / Technical implementation experience and the ability to demonstrate a proven track record across the following areas:
Responsibilities:
· Configuring bank files – working with the internal project team and clients, to obtain requirements and subsequently build configurable bank files to specification. In addition, support the Implementation Consultant throughout the testing phase.
· Configuring General Ledger (GL) Outputs – working with the internal project team and clients, to obtain requirements and subsequently build configurable GL outputs to specification with relevant testing.
· Creating client configurable reports – assist with the configuration of more complex client reports and provide support to internal teams with their development in this area.
· Be a system technical champion – Work with the iiPay development team to drive efficiencies in the iiPay platform through automation/robotic initiatives as well as be system champion to assist training/advice to the Implementations and Operations teams.
· Inbound integrations – Own the configuration of all inbound flat file integrations, including any automated flat file movement, and provide any support of the iiPay development team with client API configurations.
· Go-live transition – Assist the Implementation Consultant in the creation of handover material to be delivered to the iiPay Operations team, enabling the team to be able to consistently deliver all integrations and reporting to the expected standard.
· Technical one-off projects – provide support to all iiPay departments which require technical support and assistance.
· Client Owner – You will own the relationship with your clients for all your assigned work. Running meetings to drive the completion of the workstreams you own. You will deliver presentations and support the client to resolve all open queries to establish their systemized and optimized global payroll solution with iiPay.
What are we looking for in you?
Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills along with a dynamic approach are essential to succeed in this role. Your primary focus will be in General Ledger file and payment file creation followed by any bespoke report and inbound integration needs of our customers.
· Ability to pick up new technologies, common applications, and strong Excel skills.
· Ability to be a bridge between technical teams and non-technical teams, through email, virtual workshops and face to face meetings.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage time critical tasks and to assign responsibilities to third party organisations.
· Experience in producing detailed system integration specifications, field mapping, and process designs.
· Experience of using or managing payroll processes and their associated systems.
· Experience of working with international clients both small and large (FTSE & Fortune 500), demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and gain trust with client contacts.
· Highly motivated and driven professional individual with proven track record of delivering projects on time with high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Experience of working within a regulated (ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16) service delivery environment.
· Experience completing integration work between HR / T&A software and payroll software as well as extensive experience completing interfaces for bank files, general ledger files and pension files.
· General understanding of JavaScript or similar languages.
· General understanding of XML format and schemas
· General Understanding of technical integration (APIs, SFTP etc.) with third party applications.
· Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
