We are a British-owned company specializing in the manufacture of toys across Asia. We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) to ensure quality standards that consistently met across vendor factories. This role includes overseeing quality assurance and control processes, conducting audits, and collaborating with production and sourcing teams. The position is crucial in maintaining product integrity and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities
Vendor Quality Inspections:
Assist in the inspection of raw materials and finished products received from vendors to ensure they meet Jellycat’s quality standards.
Perform checks on materials such as fabrics, components, and other inputs to identify any defects or non-conformities.
Report any quality issues or defects to the QC Manager and QA Manager for further action.
Testing & Documentation:
Support the QC team in conducting product tests as required, ensuring that vendor-supplied goods meet all applicable safety and regulatory standards (e.g., EN71, ASTM F963).
Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and any quality issues encountered.
Prepare reports on vendor performance and quality metrics for review by the QC Manager and QA Manager.
Vendor Communication:
Assist in communicating quality issues to vendors, helping to clarify expectations and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Track the progress of corrective actions taken by vendors to resolve any identified quality issues.
Provide feedback to vendors regarding the quality of their materials and suggest improvements where necessary.
Support in Corrective Actions:
Work with the QC team to help implement corrective actions for any quality issues related to vendor-supplied goods.
Follow up on corrective action plans with vendors to ensure timely resolution of defects or non-conformities.
Continuous Improvement Support:
Assist the QC Manager and QA Manager in identifying opportunities for improving vendor quality performance.
Participate in vendor audits or assessments to ensure that suppliers are meeting Jellycat’s quality requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, production, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of quality issues related to vendors.
Provide support to the production team in ensuring that vendor-supplied materials are fit for use in manufacturing.
Training & Team Development:
Train and mentor QC team members on quality control techniques, inspection procedures, and safety standards.
Develop and implement training programs to ensure the QC team remains up-to-date on the latest quality standards and practices.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to encourage growth and improvement.
Supplier Quality Management:
Work closely with suppliers to ensure they comply with Jellycat’s quality standards and address any issues that arise.
Conduct supplier audits as needed to assess their adherence to quality requirements.
Provide feedback to suppliers on raw material quality and collaborate on improvements.
3 years of experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in the toy or textile industry.
Basic understanding of quality control principles and inspection processes.
Familiarity with product testing procedures and safety regulations (e.g., EN71, ASTM F963) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
