Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Business Analytics, the Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for deriving consumer behavior insights to champion strategic growth initiatives across varying Global regions and teams. This position brings strong project management skills, experience communicating data-driven insights to Senior Leadership, analytical aptitude, teamwork and confident leadership to every problem or opportunity. The ideal candidate has experience leading Junior Analysts embarking in their career while managing the challenges of day-to-day business functions.


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Utilize SQL, Google BigQuery or other relevant tools to collect and analyze data related to consumer purchasing behavior, identifying pattern changes and other key performance indicators.
  • Provide reporting, analysis and insights across multiple Global regions, identifying efficiency or strategic growth opportunities
  • Partner with Leadership to develop and expand Test & Learn agenda
  • Maintain and monitor dashboards and support stakeholders in self-service of information from baseline reports to drive data driven decision making.
  • Support Director training Junior Analysts in foundational analytical areas such as Excel template creation, SQL query building and validation, and data storytelling.
  • Other duties as required.


Requirements

The right candidate:

  • Has proven experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role, with a track record of driving data-based improvements. The ideal candidate has led strategic conversations with Executive Leaders using data insights.
  • Intermediate to Expert SQL and Excel knowledge. VBA is a plus. Python is a plus. Experience aligning Marketing and Financial data a plus.
  • Has experience with Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and other relevant analytics tools. 
  • Can create dashboards and deliver insights to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate problem solving and creative skills.
  • Communicate effectively with globally distributed teams in various time zones.
  • Keep a positive, but realistic, attitude even under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role. Leadership experience a plus.
  • Experience writing and validating SQL queries, identifying data inconsistencies when necessary
  • Good technical problem solving and interpersonal skills necessary to assist others in problem resolution.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Workplace Setting:

  • This is a remote role based out of the US, preferably working Eastern US hours
