We are currently searching for a Remote AWS Integration Engineer:

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using AWS EventBridge, Step Functions, AWS Glue, DynamoDB, and Secrets Manager.
  • Utilize Python for developing and maintaining data applications.
  • Implement and manage REST API calls for integrating various data sources and services.
  • Source and process data from Snowflake using AWS services.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, capture Change Data Capture (CDC) from Snowflake tables, and invoke downstream applications via API calls.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data integration requirements.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure data security and compliance, managing sensitive information with AWS Secrets Manager.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments using Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and timely data delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in AWS services, including EventBridge, Step Functions, AWS Glue, S3, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Secrets Manager.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with REST API development.
  • Experience sourcing data from Snowflake and processing it using AWS services.
  • Expertise in SQL query optimization, CDC capture from Snowflake tables, and API integrations.
  • Strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desired 

  • AWS certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and deployment management, as well as GitHub Enterprise.
  • Experience with metadata-driven load patterns in AWS.
  • Knowledge of other AWS services like RDS.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.

  • Native Spanish.

Requirements

  • Data Modeling & ETL: Design, develop, and optimize data models and ETL processes using Snowflake for efficient data storage and analytics.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards integrated with Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of Snowflake, including SQL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Implement data transformation logic using SQL, Snowflake Stored Procedures (SQL and Python), and ETL tool to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data.
  • Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security within the Snowflake environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Snowflake data warehouse.
