The Department
At Autovista Group, our sales teams are not organised by country but are structured by sectors, ensuring a "one face to the customer" approach and a seamless experience. This role is part of the Enterprise Team within the OEM & Remarketing sector, which focuses on high-value clients and large-scale deals.
The Role
In recent years, an increasing number of new OEMs have entered the European market, primarily from China, but not exclusively. Autovista Group is seeking a passionate Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive new business and exceed sales targets within non-European accounts. In this role, you will introduce prospects to the European automotive landscape, build strong relationships with decision-makers, identify and develop sales opportunities, and successfully sell our on-strategy products and services.
Your focus will be on identifying new OEMs entering Europe, establishing key contacts, explaining the importance of residual values to these new players, presenting tailored solutions, closing deals, and growing our subscription business. Renewable subscriptions will be the main revenue driver, complemented by one-off and transaction-based sales opportunities. While you will also be responsible for renewing these deals after one year, the primary focus is on acquiring new business rather than managing an existing customer base.
Responsibilities
· Identify new prospects and develop relationships with key decision-makers within non-European OEMs
· Challenge customers on the European automotive landscape, emphasising the importance of data-driven decision-making
· Maintain a strong understanding of our market, products, and competitive landscape
· Develop and convert sales opportunities for our cutting-edge data and software solutions
· Ensure subscription renewals with price increases aligned with company strategies
· Track and manage customer interactions and sales pipeline using Salesforce
· Collaborate with internal teams to identify and develop new business opportunities
The Candidate
We are looking for you – a Key Account Manager with a proven track record in Key Account Management and experience in managing senior-level relationships. You have strong B2B sales experience in the automotive industry, ideally within the OEM, Leasing & Finance sector, or in data/software solutions. You have the drive to achieve and exceed sales KPIs and revenue targets.
You are fluent in English, with additional languages being a plus. You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using Salesforce (training provided).
Your communication, negotiation, and presentation skills set you apart and will be key to your success in this role. You should also have a willingness to travel, both within Europe and internationally (including Asia), to engage with key clients and prospects.
As the majority of prospects and customers are from Asia, you should have an appreciation for Asian culture and business practices and an understanding of how to effectively engage with clients from this region.
