Junior Wordpress Front-end Developer -Mexico-

This is a remote position.

You will work closely with Designers, Developers, and Project Managers to deliver these client marketing materials. Continually improving and modernizing our workflows, templates, and tools with your colleagues is also an integral part of the position.

• Execute the development and quality assurance testing of Jekyll, WordPress, and Shopify websites.
  

• Work with a team of Designers and Project Managers to create conversion and lead-generation-focused front-end user experiences.
  

• Debug websites regularly to improve performance.
  

• Scope and provide estimates for potential projects or change requests.
  

• Work closely with the project management team and creative lead.
  

• Work collaboratively with other team members and project managers to constantly improve both technical and creative aspects of our products, workflows, and strategies.
  

• Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly and concisely to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
  

• Ability to critically analyze content and ensure messaging and imagery align and convey a strong, cohesive marketing message.
  

• Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  

• Delivery of high-quality, well-tested work in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience developing digital projects like HTML, WordPress, and Shopify websites.
  
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, Node.JS, Bootstrap, Sass, and JavaScript/ECMA Script.
  
• Experience in WordPress and Shopify theme development and customization.
  
• A portfolio showcasing your knowledge of website development best practices, demonstrating a strong understanding of technical principles and information architecture.
  
• Prior agency experience or working within a team of developers, designers, and project managers is preferred.
  
• Strong understanding of how to troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues.
  
• Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques.
  
• Strong communication skills and able to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  

• Ability to define and enforce technical best practices.
  
• Ability to provide technical training and onboarding of new production team members.
  
• Experience with prototyping software like Figma or Sketch.
  
• Intermediate experience with using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop or other graphic design tools to produce appealing designs for print and digital marketing materials, websites, and banner ads.
  
• Knowledge of vector artwork.
  
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality.
