Job description

Grodan is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to manage and execute the sales and brand activities of the North American Commercial and Retail mid-low level sales markets for the MJ division.  This includes licensed grower sales - both direct and indirect, retail dealers, and managing overall brand awareness & reputation. You will have ownership of assigned accounts and will conduct broader phone and email campaigns with North American Grodan MJ customers with the purpose of growing sales, providing education, and creating overall brand awareness.  This is a remote role, based in the U.S., and reports to the Director of Sales, MJ.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop, identify and secure all relevant sales opportunities within assigned customers and territories
  • Maintain CRM/Lead Management activities for accounts
  • Sell Grodan products to existing clients as identified, and build relations with new clients primarily through remote means via the use of telephone, video conferencing, social media and online meetings
  • Conduct multiple calling campaigns and mailing campaigns to identified customer groups
  • Drive meaningful sales and achieve the sales budget(s) and goals as defined on a yearly basis
  • Develop smaller customers with potential, and work with field sales to optimally serve the full customer portfolio
  • Achieve Customer Service goals for key service metrics in four key areas: sales growth, brand awareness, market intelligence, and CRM completion activity,
  • Collaborate with appropriate account managers in respective territories for sales growth and opportunities
  • Provide as needed ad hoc assignments for the advancing of sales and assistance as needed with customer events and trade shows
  • Aid in selling the eGro platform
  • Some travel required

What You Offer

  • 2+ years’ experience in the Cannabis industry in a retail, sales, customer service, or inside sales capacity a MUST
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Experienced and highly skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, SAP applications
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines in a fact paced environment
  • Comfortable spending 50%+ on the phone selling goods and services
  • Comfortable speaking in both online group settings or in person
