Job description

Company Profile

At Sand Cherry Associates, we excel in the design and delivery of strategic customer-centric initiatives through digitally-native, data-empowered solutions.  Our client’s confidence in us is centered on exceptionally skilled, high-energy talent working with the support of the full Sand Cherry team.

This internship is in memory of Monique Bell, a beloved, long-time Cherry who passed away suddenly in 2021 and who was the champion of Sand Charities and who helped spearhead the creation of our D&I Working Group. The Monique S Bell Internship Program engages with promising talent from traditionally disadvantaged and minority groups at both the MBA and undergraduate level. Be a part of our annual internship with special meaning to our organization and help grow your professional consulting skills.

Program Overview and Responsibilities

Interns are assigned to one or more client projects where they will receive mentorship and support to help achieve success on the engagement. Beyond exposure to real life projects, the internship also delivers a variety of national and local learning and networking events. In addition, throughout the internship there are ongoing events such as lunch and learns, industry/service line spotlights, and regularly scheduled training offerings designed to help our interns develop technical and client service skills.

Interns will learn first-hand what a career with Sand Cherry Associates is like and receive the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. Additional social activities are planned throughout the internship to provide opportunity to network with Sand Cherry Associate professionals. There will be formal goal setting and an evaluation process throughout the internship.

Each intern is assigned a mentorship team, including a counselor and an onboarding advisor, to help offer guidance throughout the course of the internship. The counselor, typically a manager or senior manager offers career guidance and feedback. The onboarding advisor is a peer level mentor to help answer questions and offer insight into how to make the most of the internship experience. Additional mentors, both formal and informal, will be identified during the internship. These mentor relationships can carry into the future and offer a great way to stay connected to Sand Cherry Associates. Depending on performance and other factors, Interns may have the opportunity to receive a subsequent internship opportunity at Sand Cherry Associates.
