Job description

We are an industry leader in helping Home Health, Hospice, and Skilled Nursing providers improve their financial and quality performance while complying with many regulatory requirements. Additionally, we connect the post-acute world to the broader provider markets to allow for optimal management across the continuum of care.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our company as a Business Intelligence Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). In this role, you will design and implement automated testing solutions for BI tools that transform healthcare data into actionable insights used by over 10,000 Home Health, Hospice, and Skilled Nursing providers.  This is a remote work position within the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable, efficient test automation frameworks for BI tools, with a focus on Microsoft Reporting Services and web service APIs.
  • Write and execute SQL queries against large datasets stored in SQL Server.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment process using tools like Jenkins and NUnit.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Software Engineers on unit, integration, and regression testing using SHP’s proprietary reporting framework.
  • Work as part of a Scrum team to scope, size, and deliver high-quality stories in an agile environment.
  • Contribute to test-driven development (TDD) and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and SQL query development, including data wrangling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 2017+
  • 3+ years of experience in C# and NUnit for test automation
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins
  • Strong understanding of unit, functional, performance, and regression testing methodologies
  • Ability to analyze both structured and unstructured data and troubleshoot performance issues in SQL Server
  • Experience working with large datasets (hundreds of millions of rows)
  • Familiarity with source control management tools such as Git, Perforce, TFS, or SVN
  • Experience with business software such as MS Excel, Jira, and Confluence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field
  • Healthcare experience is a plus

 

Pay

$100,000. - $140,000. annual, depending upon experience.
